Unfortunately, most other instructors in the self-defense realm concentrate on only #2, while beginners seem oddly focused on #3.

But what is it, exactly? Most instructors get “pseudo-science-y” with talk of Cooper’s Color Code and the OODA Loop. We find that is only useful for folks in the military and law enforcement. As civilians teaching civilian combatives, we keep it direct so you can easily incorporate it into your own life.
